Apple didn't update the iPad Mini at all besides adding a fingerprint sensor and charging $100 extra for that. Nothing else has changed, same A7 chip, same cameras, same Wi-Fi, honestly, I would personally get the iPad mini 2 over the 3 because its simply a better deal.
