The Whole Story: The Quilting Makes all the Difference

This short video explores and demonstrates the difference between running-stitch quilting and half-backstitch quilting. The project was produced by The Vault, a student team under the supervision of Michael Burton, lecturer in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design in the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The project coincides with The Whole Story, an exhibition guest-curated by Linda Baumgarten, curator of Textiles and Costumes at Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, for the International Quilt Study Center & Museum.
