Trouble reading / sensing registration marks ARMS - Graphtec CE6000 60

Dear all, I have been using Graphtec CE 6000 60 for 6 months now, and this is a Gem of a plotter. Works Great. Recently i have started facing this issue that while trying to read registration marks, the sensor slips over the top left registration mark, and it continues again and again. I am using a Avery MPI 2923 Vinyl with Thick Matte Overlaminate. I did not face this issue on other medias whose release liner is not stiff like the 2923 from avery. Please do suggest a solution to this issue.
